Trip to England!!!
NEWTS
When The Cute Kitten and I where in Granny's garden when I found a newt.At the time I thought it was a dead salamander. Then I saw it move and thought it was a live salamander. Then I showed it Val (a.k.a. my Mom) and she said it was a newt, and she hadn't seen a newt til she was a grown up.( I'm nine and The Cute Kitten's 7). this a picture of me holding two newts.
A newt's belly (sorry which ever newt is in this picture):
Ridding
This year I rode bareback on a big horse called Ginger:
I also rode a pony called Penny.
Mucking out stables is FUN!!

A Christmas Treasury: A book reivew
A Christmas Treasury By Jane Yolen. Illustrated by Tomie dePaolo( De-Pol-O).
A book of poems,songs,and stories.
"A beautiful treasury of stories, legends, poems, carols (including music), and even a play all of which joyously celebrate the diversity of Christmas traditions from around the world." from the back of the book.
I like the play and the stories and all the songs. I love the pictures in this book. They have a lot of details in them.
And if you like this book you might want to try "Color Me A Rhyme" by Jane Yolen. Tomie dePaola wrote a lot of books too. I like his books but cannot remember the titles at the moment.
