Third Yarn Along

Joining Ginny's Yarn along again...Thanks Ginny

I'm on the second half of the bag now ..I haven't really done much this week.
I should be finished soon. I had my tenth birthday on Saturday so I have been very busy with my Clay Animation kit that I got.
I learned how to crochet from Heidi's blog. Single. Double.
Thanks Heidi! :0)

I am reading Rising Storm. It's a very good book by Erin Hunter. It is 4th in the first Warrior series and is about a group of Cats who live in different clans who have lots of adventure.

"

In my class at school we are reading a book called "Amongst the hidden" I don't recommend it if you have a vivid imagination.

This is our cat Darwin asleep. She is very shy and timid but you wouldn't guess that when you see her with the other members of her family. She is the only girl and swots the boys to keep them in order.

Second Yarn along

Joining Ginny's Yarn along again

I have finished half of my bag and I should be finishing it soon, unless I lose my crochet like I've lost my book!

I've learned double crochet (I got how to do it from Heidi's blog)and I've learned also to find out how much wool you'll need so you don't have to switch and find it's a different color.

It's around 6.30 am so if this blog post is a bit boring it's because I'm tired.

I'm reading My Friend Flicka by Mary O'Hara and has anyone read that book? If you haven't it's about two boys, his father and Mother and lots of horses. The older boy wants a horse but doesn't do well in his school work. The younger boy does well and has a horse. The older boys Mother really wants the boys father to give him a horse.
This story is about how he gets and tries to keep his horse. I really like the book.

Speaking of books I'm in the Battle of the Books tournament today and I am really excited.

Our Cousin sent us a book on the Isle of Wight it looks like a place I'd like to visit.

I'm learning to play the piano and this is a picture of me playing.

Enid Blyton Mystery stories by Cute Kitten

Enid Blyton is a great author and I have a whole shelf full of her books. She wrote loads of books! My favorite books are the mystery books like The Mystery of the burnt cottage" "The Mystery of the disappearing cat", "the Mystery of the Secret room" which I haven't read yet. They are VERY funny and each one has a mystery that they solve.
There are seven main characters each not called by their real name. The seven main characters are.... Fredrick Algernon Trotteville, He is known as Fatty, Phillip is known as Pip, his sister Elizabeth known as Bets, Laurence known as Larry, Margaret known as Daisy, Mr Goon the Policeman known as Clear off to the children and last but not least is Buster the little Scottie dog who is just known as Buster.

Blogger Kate likes them too.

Joining Yarn Along

Hi My name is B-Kate and I'm 9 turning 10 soon. I'm joining Ginny's Yarn along this week for the first time.

My Sister CK probably wants to join in too..for the book part not the yarn part!

I'm reading Malory Towers by Enid Blyton. It's about a girl called Darrell who goes to boarding school for the first time. I really like it and I will not spoil the story for you. I have just finished a Boxcar Mystery by Gertrude Chandler Warner. She wrote the first 19 books in the series and they were so popular that other people wrote more. I prefer the first 19. My favorite is the first book in the series. It is called "The Boxcar Children".

I am Crocheting a small bag to put my crocheting and knitting work in. I am only on the third row.

I learned to crochet from Heidi's blog Heidi Bears. It is a really good blog on how to crochet and it has some interesting patterns. She shows me how to make different stitches. She also has some knitting tutorials. They are very clear.
